What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

3:30PM-3:50PM IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT YOU ARE ON TIME, THE VENUE IS PROMPT, SO THE CEREMONY WILL START AT 4 PM, THUS YOU WILL NEED TO BE SEATED BEFORE THIS TIME. Bay Area traffic is no joke. Due to our wedding being in the summer month, many people are headed to and from the beach.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Nestldown is a manicured forest with paths and hills on different terrains – including lawns and elevation changes. Ladies, note that high heels are not a recommended choice of footwear. We highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes for outdoor terrain.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Therefore, we are asking that adults only attend.

Is the Wedding outdoors?

Answer

Yes, Nestldown is an outdoor venue and spans many acres. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will be outdoors.

Is there parking at the Wedding location?

Answer

Yes! However, we do recommend if you plan to enjoy some adult beverages that you consider taking our shuttle provided to and from the Doubletree Hotel. The road up to Nestldown is one lane and windy.
