Our Story Some of the best love stories begin when you least expect them—and ours started at work. Ashley and Frank first met while working together at Suburban Adult Services, Inc. (formerly Claddagh Commission). While Ashley's first thought was, "Who the heck is this guy?", Frank was immediately drawn to her beautiful smile. Before long, what started as a workplace friendship turned into something much more. Their first date was simple—a BBQ dinner and drinks—but both of them knew early on that there was something special about the connection they shared. They were drawn to each other's personalities right away. Frank loved Ashley's outgoing nature and infectious smile, while Ashley admired Frank's hard work, dedication, and sense of humor. As their relationship grew, so did their adventures together. From cruising through the Caribbean and experiencing the excitement of the Indianapolis 500, to making memories in New Orleans, Nashville, Florida Christmases, country concerts, and camping trips, they discovered that their favorite place to be was wherever they were together. When it came time to propose, Frank made sure it would be unforgettable. After a long overnight shift, he surprised Ashley by convincing her to go 100 feet up in the air on Angola Fire’s ladder truck. While up in the air he got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with him. Ashley was completely surprised—and, of course, said yes. In 2019, they began searching for a home to build their future. Ironically, the house they almost skipped ended up being "the one." After Frank convinced Ashley to give it a chance, they fell in love with it the moment they walked through the door and submitted an offer before they even left the driveway. That house soon became a home filled with love, laughter, and some of life's most meaningful moments. The greatest blessings of their lives arrived with the birth of their two boys, Luka and Lincoln. Becoming parents brought a whole new level of love and purpose to their relationship. Watching Frank become an incredible father gave Ashley an even deeper appreciation for him, while Frank found a new kind of happiness in raising a family together. Through every milestone, challenge, and triumph—including navigating Lincoln's health journey—they have continued to grow stronger as partners and parents. Today, their home is filled with everything that matters most: family, laughter, and love. Whether they're spending the day at the pool, heading to the beach, taking the boys to the playground, or simply running errands together, they find joy in the little moments of everyday life. Frank still makes Ashley breakfast before her work shifts, and no matter how busy life gets, they always end the day together. As they look forward to this next chapter, they are excited to continue building a life rooted in faith, family, and adventure. They dream of traveling more, growing old together, and watching their family continue to grow. Above all else, they are grateful for how much they have grown both individually and as a couple, and for the beautiful life they have built together. Their story is a reminder that the greatest adventures aren't found in the places you go—they're found in the people you share them with. And for Ashley and Frank, the best is yet to come.
