The Gathering Place is a 66.5 acres park along the Arkansas River in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It takes the crown as America's largest playground! There are multiple walking paths, interactive playgrounds (for kids and adults), bike baths, gardens, and some lunch spots for the family to enjoy! There is no entrance fee for this park, so it's a great opportunity to enjoy some free fun!
Center of the Universe
The Center of the Universe is a cool tourist destination where your voice echoes loudly when standing in the center due to an acoustic anomaly. It's a free and quick stop in the city!
Oklahoma Aquarium
A beautiful aquarium known for rehabilitation. You can easily spend a good few hours here. It's interactive, fun, has many different kinds of aquatic life, and it's air conditioned - a great activity if it's hot outside!
Tulsa Zoo
124 acres of amazing habitats and animals. A great place for families or anyone who loves animals and learning! The zoo also works hard to build a better future for conservationism!
Route 66 Historical Village
If you're a fan of the movie "Cars" like we are, you should visit Route 66! A free museum with the world's tallest oil rig, train displays, and good views. This historic village offers well-kept trains, including a massive engine, and other Route 66 memorabilia, providing great photo opportunities. Not the part of Route 66 McQueen found himself on, but still super cool to see!
Tulsa Botanic Garden
Botanic garden with floral terraces, a lakeside promenade, lotus pool and prairie trail. Amazing place for photos if you love gardens and the outdoors!
