I met Ashley through a mutual friend. It was 2009, our freshman year of college, and we were all in the same Theatre class. I was walking out after class, and the introduction went something like this: Friend: "Ethan! I want to introduce you to my good friend Ashley! Ashley, this is my new friend Ethan!" Ashley: "Nice to meet you." Ethan: "Hi, nice to meet you." Crazy story, right? A few months later, we both attended the same costume party (Ashley was wearing a toga, and I was dressed like Anchorman). I was being my typical goofball self, and Ashley continuously laughed at my jokes. I knew that there was something special about her. Unfortunately, she had a boyfriend... Plot twist! We spent the next year eating Jack in the Box, doing homework together, and helping each other through break-ups. We became best friends, but soon realized there was something more between us. So I decided to do what any man would do. I put on a High School Musical song, and I asked her to go out with me.

After graduating college in 2013, Ashley and I moved to Los Angeles. Jack in the Box became Taco Bell, homework became auditions, and helping each other through break-ups became helping each other through LA traffic. We were focused on our acting careers, and trying to make sense of the big city. Although our career paths were uncertain, I knew one thing for sure - I couldn't navigate life without Ashley. So I decided to ask if she would date me forever. I proposed to Ashley in front of the castle at Disneyland on our 4-year anniversary, and she nodded yes! We are so excited to start our lives together, and we can't wait for you to join us at the celebration!
