YES! Your safety is our number one priority and to ensure this we are doing the following - 1. The resort is required to abide by CDC guidelines and they have ensured us they will. We are having the wedding ceremony and reception in a socially distanced manner. We will also be seating according to families and areas traveled from. 2. There will be ample sanitizing stations throughout the resort and we will be providing a wrist band for social distancing purposes. The wrist band is entirely optional but you are encourage to wear it if you would like people to keep their distance from you. 3. Ashley’s family has been getting tested regularly (all negative results) and plans to the week of the week of the wedding.
There is no question that your safety is our number one concern. If you do not feel safe traveling to share our special day, please stay home and celebrate from afar. Please let us know ASAP, as our guest count is very critical just like any other wedding. We are currently working on figuring out a way to Zoom the ceremony so that our beloved friends and family won’t miss the moment.
The wedding and reception are entirely outdoors. There is truly no better place to be than outside in the ocean air! The ceremony area holds up to 200 people but we are only expecting around 80. The reception area will be outside on the deck and is entirely private. It will be more than enough space to distance tables and give everyone their space. Cocktail hour will be held in the indoor gallery and will be more than enough space to accommodate all guests. There will be appertizers and an open bar!
It’s supposed to be good luck but we are hoping for clear skies and a beautiful day. If it does rain - the resort has a plan B lined up to move the ceremony inside. The outdoor terrace is under covered can be contained to keep everyone dry!
