A serendipitous start. Ashley and Eric were both bound to Michigan. When they met in California, Ashley would soon enroll at the University of Michigan Hospital, the building Eric was born. They were introverts, punctual, drove Honda Civics, liked dogs and podcasts, worked odd jobs, and moved around as kids. From 2021-2022, they walked at the beach, visited breweries, and played tennis at Great Park in Irvine. In 2022, they road tripped from Southern California to Michigan so Ashley could start school. They stopped in Las Vegas, Arches National Park, the Rockies, Denver, Kansas City, and drove 8 hours through a flat empty not-to-be-named state between Colorado and Missouri. They now live in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The 30 minutes from Dana Point to Irvine became 30 minutes from Ann Arbor to Novi. ...
