Contrary to how it sounds, but we actually met online! Hinge to be exact! Had grown up 20 minutes apart from each other our whole lives but never crossed paths before! Not to be cheesy but he seriously had me at hello :) Three years later and we’ve hardly gone a day without each other!

We aren’t sure how to this day it came to be, but somewhere along our journey we decided that Mardi Gras was “our thing”. He knew I had been waiting for hints of when he would propose, but would never let anything slip. On the day of the Endymion parade, I was completely oblivious to what was coming! Tbh I was more concerned with how cold it was! I had no idea he had all of our best friends in on the surprise. We planned to meet my best friend Rachel, who was in from out of town in front of the cathedral in Jackson square. Got there and everyone said “let’s take some pictures together “. They told Dustin and I to go first (I’m still oblivious to what’s about to happen) and next thing I know, I looked over and he was down on one knee. I screamed, shouted "YES," and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in April!
