FAQs

We know you must have a bunch of questions about our wedding, so let us start off by answering a few potential ones. We'll add new questions here as they get asked, so don't hesitate. Chances are: if you thought of a question, someone else has too.
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our official attire is cocktail attire. We recommend guys wear a blazer, button down, and slacks. We recommend ladies wear a nice dress or a nice blouse and slacks combo. At the end of the day, we're just happy to see everyone so wear whatever makes you comfortable.

Question

Does the venue have parking?

Answer

Because our venue is in the middle of Baltimore, the building itself does not have parking. However, there is plenty of street parking available as well as several parking lots less than a quarter mile away. Any guests that might have trouble walking can be dropped off at the venue entrance. Check out details about the parking situation on the "Travel" page.

Question

When should I arrive to the venue

Answer

The venue is a little difficult to find and there is no parking at the venue. We have a list of close parking in our travel section if you would like suggestions on where to park. We are planning at beginning the processional at 11:30 on the dot. We recommenced taking all of those things into consideration when deciding how you will travel and when you should get there. If you are driving yourself, plan to be to the venue half an hour early so that you have ample time to find parking, get back to the venue, and find your seat. For everyone else, we recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early to account for possible travel delays and to allow yourself time to relax before the ceremony.

Question

Are you providing transportation from hotels to the event and vice versa?

Answer

We purposely selected hotels within a mile and a half of the venue to ensure that they would be within a reasonable walking distance. However, if you prefer to travel by car there is plenty of parking near the venue (although the venue itself does not have parking). There should also be plenty of taxis, Ubers, and Lyfts around if you prefer to travel by car without driving yourself.

Question

I'm having trouble finding your venue, is there anything I should look for when I arrive?

Answer

One of the things we love about Chase Court is that it's a beautiful, secluded venue right in the middle of the city. However, we understand it's difficult to spot off of the street. There will be appropriate signage day of to help you find your way.

Question

It's the middle of March, why are you doing the ceremony outside?

Answer

Both of us have always wanted an outdoor wedding, so the ceremony will be outdoors if the weather permits. There's always the possibility for us to move the ceremony inside, but we wanted to make use of the beautiful garden setting that Chase Court has to offer.

Question

What's the bar situation?

Answer

We'll have an open bar with beer, wine, and a small liquor selection.

Question

I heard there's a St. Patrick's day parade going on at the same time as the event. Will this get in the way?

Answer

The St. Patricks day parade occurring in downtown Baltimore will not have any effect on our wedding. The parade starts after the ceremony is to begin, and it will end before the reception ends. There should not be any major impact on parking or traffic, but plan accordingly just in case.
