Is this event a wedding ceremony?

Answer

We are eloping a couple weeks prior! This event is a celebration of our marriage, and we’re so excited to share the joy with our friends and family. Our wedding reception/Happily Ever After Party will be a big cookout with games and music!

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be serving a buffet-style meal featuring some of our favorites: fried chicken, pulled pork, and mac and cheese. Nonalcoholic beverages will also be provided to keep everyone refreshed throughout the celebration. Please be aware that alcoholic beverages are prohibited in PA state parks.

What time should I arrive at the reception?

Answer

The celebration begins at 1:00 PM, and that’s when the food will be served—so be sure to come hungry! We’ll be onsite enjoying the day until dusk, around 6:00 PM, so feel free to come and go as it works best for you.

Are children and plus-ones allowed?

Answer

Yes, children and plus-ones are welcome! Just be sure to include them on your RSVP so we can get an accurate headcount for food. We want to make sure there's plenty for everyone to enjoy!

What should I wear to the reception?

Answer

The dress code is casual! Since the reception will take place in a state park with dirt and gravel trails, we recommend comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. The event is rain or shine, but don’t worry—we’ll be under the cover of two pavilions to keep everyone dry and shaded.
