We’re getting married!

I had my head in the clouds not even looking for a new relationship. Derek, on the other hand knew just what he wanted. For seven months straight, this man persistently pursued me and never gave up! Followed me on all social media, but I played hard to get considering he was a senior in high school. We finally officially met in october of 2017 and I instantly knew, I could barely stand to be away from this guy! Although he was a senior in high school, he was already 19 but I still tried to play hard to get, whoopsie. Im a firm believer in when you know you just know and boy howdy did I know! Five years & a toddler later, here we are doing the damn thing!

If you truly know us - you’ll know that derek has forever said he was going to marry me but when asked when he was going to pop the question, he would just shrug his shoulders! Well, one evening after dinner I was cleaning up & I had just put Avery down - he was teasing me again about “having my ring” and “just waiting for the right moment” well I popped off with “oh yeah?! If you have it go get it then!” Little did I know he went to actually go get it from his hiding spot, oops! He had his arms behind his back & I couldnt snatch it out of his hands fast enough (whoops sorry derek) as soon as I opened the box I almost passed out I was expecting him to be playing an evil joke on me!! - true derek fashion yall
