We met back in 2012 when we were both working in the same research lab. We became best friends basically overnight and found ourselves chatting in the lab and hanging out almost daily going rock climbing, making pizza and going to food trucks. Then the most exciting thing happened.... we had a completely platonic friendship for the next 3 years (whomp whomp)! Dave's subtle game went completely unnoticed by Ashley who was just pumped to have a new BFF. Some years later we found ourselves working in the same building again for grad school and decided to meet up for a "totally platonic" lets-catch-up-sometime beer. One night out turned into multiple nights out and by the time we had our first official date, we both knew this would be something really great. ❤
