Peter is David’s younger brother, but he is more of a grown-up than David. Peter refuses to drive to the airport altogether because he has multiple tickets either dropping off or picking up David at LAX. He also discovered his latest obsession golf after hitting a few shots with some irons on the farm with David. Peter is married to Lisa and they have an adorable dog named Olaf.
Jinyoung Lee

Jinyoung and Ashley met during the eighth grade school trip to Washington, DC. After just a day, Ashley knew that she had found a lifelong friend. By that summer, they became next door neighbors and then everything else was history. Jinyoung is funny, outspoken, and a loving mother of 2 beautiful kids. She keeps Ashley grounded no matter what’s going on in life.
Jared Gopiao

Jared and David first met in Hawaii where their boss actually confused the two of them and referred to David as “Doc” thinking he was Jared. The two grew close over their connection with Southern California roots and their passion for grilling and scotch. To this day, David swears on the prime rib Jared aged for over 60 days in his barracks refrigerator to celebrate David’s return from a deployment.
Andrea Kim

Andrea and Ashley met at church over 20 years ago. To young Ashley, meeting someone with the same initials and birth month felt so purposeful. The friendship that’s developed since then proved that 100% right. Andrea is the world’s most selfless and loving human. She’s also ridiculously fun and brings so much happiness to any atmosphere. And on top of that? She's a badass pharmacist kicking covid booty!
Joseph Yi

Joe is one of Ashley’s oldest friends. When David met Joe, they immediately bonded over their love of whisky and sports. David and Joe have spent many Sundays watching the NY Giants blow yet another game along with pizza and IPAs through Sunday Night Football. Joe is a chef that makes some of the most delicious dishes at Sagaponack in NYC.
Claudia Yoo

Claudia and Ashley met through Andrea, so it’s no surprise that they quickly became such good friends. Claudia is a fun, down-to-earth, and loving soul. In the few years of their friendship, they’ve made countless memories hiking, traveling, and just sitting on the couch together with Andrea and a (few) bottle(s) of wine. Ask her about her adorable pupper, Sadie!
Andrew Rios

Andrew was and still is the biggest bully David ever met. David was in the best shape of his life when he was Andrew’s roommate on their deployment. Andrew forced David to join him on three workouts a day. After the Marines, Andrew went on to be a CrossFit coach… go figure! Andrew and David once watched the Super Bowl on their deployment at four in the morning with coffee and donuts instead of chips and beer.
Healee On

Healee and Ashley have been friends for over 20 years, and they’ve gone on some epic trips together around the world. Riding camels through the Saharan desert was pretty wild! When she’s not jetsetting, Healee is usually kicking COVID’s ass in the hospital or baking some delicious treats. She also has a million other talents. Ask her about the candles she recently made at home!
Johnny Paik

Johnny works at the VA and helps veterans everyday. David and Johnny became close friends over their love of the outdoors and their passion for sports. David and Johnny first met when his wife introduced him at church. We were both checking fantasy football scores and immediately became friends. David likes to take credit for getting Johnny addicted to golf. Sorry Mirian. Johnny and David are distinguished finishers of the infamous Halewa Joe’s Prime Rib.
