Flight
If you are flying in from out of town, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is the closest airport to downtown Seattle. It also has plenty of ride shares and the Link light rail train available for transportation options when heading to and from your hotel or rental space.
Travel Note
There are many Vrbo home and condo rentals along with a plethora of hotels in the downtown area to choose from for your stay. If you are looking for a hotel or house near the wedding venue, the downtown area is perfect. The venue is located at Hideaway Cellars in SODO. This is a downtown area neighborhood just south of T-Mobile Park and Lumen Field. Fun fact: It is named via the phrase, "South of the Dome" in reference to the old Kingdome which has since been replaced with the two previously mentioned sport fields.
Travel Note
Seattle is a very convenient area to use Uber and Lyft to get around. It is a great way to get around, but can also get pricey if using it often. Taxi services are also available. Ride shares are the easiest way to get around and be dropped off directly at your hotel or other locations (such as the wedding venue).
Train
The Link light rail is an option for traveling to and from the airport to the downtown area. It will not take you directly to the hotel, but close, depending on where you are staying. There are many downtown stops if you are staying in a hotel downtown, including: International District, Pioneer Square, University, and Westlake Center. The Link will also take you to neighborhoods outside of downtown as well. This includes: Capitol Hill, north Seattle, and SODO. Check the Sound Transit website for more information.
