We’re Getting Married!

The story of how I met my beautiful fiancée. Saturday night I’m sitting at home chilling watching a basketball game as usual LOL. Then my boy Lawrance called me asking me to step out somewhere but honestly I really wasn’t in the mood. He kept trying to convince me to step out and tell me that it was going be a good night and that it had been a long week and we were just going to kick back. Finally I gave in and we linked up at the lounge. Immediately as I walked in I noticed that the spot wasn’t packed but thinking maybe this low key is what I need LOL. As I walked to our hookah table I noticed a young lady sitting at the table nearby as I walked past. She was sitting with some friends but I continued to grab the hookah and got a drink and I went to go sit down. As I was chilling I looked up and seen the young lady again on the dance floor getting it in lol. So I stood there and checked her out for a while ignoring my boy telling me that he was ready to go LMBO! I looked away for one second then turned my head back in her direction. I noticed that she was walking straight towards me, it’s funny because I looked behind me to see exactly where she was going and forgot that I was standing on the wall😂🤣😂🤣. In my head I was thinking like she can’t be walking over here to me LOL. Yes she was LOL, she asked my name then I asked hers and immediately the first thing that came to my mind was to ask her on a date. She looked surprised and said when? I said tomorrow 🤣😂🤣😂!!! She said yes and it was the best day ever!!!!

I’m from Columbus but I went to Cincinnati for a friends wedding reception. After the reception me and a group of friends decided to keep the party going. We changed our clothes and headed to a lounge to enjoy some music and get some more dancing in. While there I noticed a tall nice looking man come in but continued dancing and hanging with my friends. We were about to leave then a line dance song we like came on and we hit the dance floor. The song landed me right near him so when the song ended I decided to walk over and say hi before leaving! I had no expectations in doing so, I just figured I minds well get a closer look and see what happens LOL! As I started walking towards him he started looking around to see if I was coming up to him, but it was only him and his friend in that area. I said hi, we introduced ourselves, and held a quick conversation before my friends called me to leave. I told him I didn’t live there and was just in town until the next day. He asked for my phone number and we exchanged information and he slid in a couple cute compliments before I left out the door. He texted me goodnight and the next day he called me and asked if I wanted to go on a date before I leave town. I thought that was so cute! It was mid-day and we went to Chili’s restaurant near where I was staying. In my mind I was only planning to be there an hour because I wanted to get on the road before it got dark. We ended having a great time together and enjoyed our conversation and learning about each other and it was so comfortable and flowed so smoothly. I loved the kinds of questions he asked me because I could tell he truly wanted to get to know me. He had such a genuine, attentive, gentlemanlike spirit that it made our time together very enjoyable. Next thing you know the restaurant was almost closing and it was 3 hours later. That date turned into the next date, then the next, and we have been together ever since. I had no idea that one brief introduction the night before would turn into me meeting my husband. I am forever grateful for that night and I’m thankful to have found my forever! ❤️
