Man of Honor
Quentin was born when Ashley was five, and even at that age she knew how important he’d be in her life. It may not be traditional to have a Man of Honor, but Ashley and Q have never lived the most conventional lives. Through the good times and bad they have always had each other’s backs and Q has always been one of the most loyal people she knows. Even when Ashley was pretending she knew more about baseball than Q, or Q blasting his music in the car because it was “better” than hers if she would just listen to the lyrics, they would have done anything to defend each other from the outside world. Ashley couldn't imagine anyone else standing by her side at her wedding, and she knows Quentin will be the first one on the dance floor discoing their way through the night.
Best Man
Matt has been one of Daniel’s closest friends since middle school. He has an infectiously positive attitude and determination that has been getting Daniel in and out of trouble since they were kids. From Matt giving Daniel a free concert ticket and then almost killing them both on the way there because “even when you’re driving it’s rude not to look at people when they’re talking to you,” to him planning a fishing trip to a stream halfway across the state that has long since gone dry; Daniel has never known where Matt’s next wild idea would take them, but they both knew getting there would be half the fun. There’s no one Daniel would rather have standing next to him as he starts his greatest adventure with Ashley, and no one he’d rather celebrate with after.
