When Ashley was working at Mt. Alverna, she was approached by a co-worker who said, "Just wait until you see the new guy they hired; you are going to love him". Those words stayed in Ashley’s mind, and she waited to see who this co-worker was talking about. She was working when Dain appeared, and she knew immediately that he was who their co-worker was talking about. You're probably thinking this is love at first sight, but this is actually where their sarcastic, jokey relationship began. Ashley was GAZING at Dain when his first words to her were, "What the hell are you doing?". Ashley knew the second she saw him that he was going to be the man she married, while Dain's thoughts were of curiosity; and here we are! The funny part to the story is that Ashley and Dain have crossed paths more than once before finally meeting each other. Dain was in the background of Ashley's photos in high school, but they never actually got to meet. Ashley left their place of work before Dain started working there, but something made her feel the need to go back. Talk about a higher power—trying to bring them together!
