We met in 2018 during a STAR recognition retreat put on by our employer, Paychex. The program brings in STARS from all over the country, for a week of career development, recognition and of course a little fun! One afternoon, we ventured over to Radio Social - where the two of us spent hours flirtatiously competing at bowling, corn hole, ping pong, jenga, you name it! The night came to a close with a beautiful awards event at Oak Hill Country Club where we enjoyed dinner and talked the whole night. That night turned into many long distance conversations, winery meetups half way between Rochester & Syracuse, Sunday Fundays spent with friends & family - - - before we knew it, we couldn't live without each other! And while the competition between us will never end *cough* Dallas Cowboys *cough* Buffalo Bills, we could not agree more on teaming up for this wild adventure called life!

After a hectic week, we decided to get out and explore a new local park for some awesome views, the Chimney Bluffs up on Lake Ontario. After driving there, we end up at the completely wrong park, whoops! After finally finding our way to the trail we were searching for, we hiked up to the top... wow, just beautiful! And just like that, in the middle of capturing the panoramic views of the lake, I turned around to find Connor on one knee! *Enter sobbing ugly tears of happiness here* We celebrated at a local winery then ended the weekend with family in one of our favorite spots- The Martin cottage on Canandaigua Lake. We currently live in Syracuse, NY with our kitties Dallas & Lunkie. Our little family is thrilled to start this next chapter in our lives! See you at the lake!
