September 6, 2019- Colten asked Ashley to be his girlfriend and she said, "Yes!" March 17th - Ashley told Colten, she loved him, and he told her that I have loved her ever since he laid eyes on her. June 24, 2023- Colten proposed to Ashley at the Botanical Gardens of Fort Worth and she said, "Yes!" April 13, 2024- We say "I do!"

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Ashley had no idea what Colten had planned for her. It started as a causal girls day out for her with brunch and shopping. The day continued, to the botanical gardens in Fort Worth for a new experience, Ashley had never been there before. Half way through, there was a woman wanting to take pictures, saying she was with the park. While reviewing the pictures the woman took, Ashley noticed Colten in the background. Ashley turned around and to her surprise Colten was down on one knee. She looked at him with a big smile on her face and said, "Its about damn time!" Colten then proceeded to ask her to marry him, with an immense smile on his face. She said "YES!"
