WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

We met sophomore year of high school in the fall of 2013, we started talking in the cafeteria in the mornings, because we both got dropped off early. Colt was always really entertaining and funny, but also sweet & kind. Every Friday he came in with Chick-Fil-A, & he'd be so sweet and give me some (so I mean how couldn't I like him?!). After about a month or two of being good friends, he decided to ask me to be his girlfriend one day after school, (having no idea we would end up where we are now) I am so glad I said, "Okay!" haha. Fast forward almost 6 amazing years later, we are now here, starting the next chapter of our lives together, and we couldn't be more excited for the day to come & to spend it with our most beloved friends & family!

My sophomore year of college, we decided to go the Virgin Islands for spring break. It was our first real adventure together, and it couldn't have been more perfect. It was our second day there, and we had planned out that day to ferry over to the next island St. John. So, we started off our morning with some breakfast and coffee at this restaurant on the water, then we traveled over to St. John, next we took a taxi to Trunk Bay, which is easily the most breathtaking beach I have ever stepped foot on. We arrived there and the beach was practically all to ourselves. Well, Colt was so clever to ask this family a few feet away from us to take a quick picture of me and him, not knowing he actually told them he was going to propose to me, so he asked if they could capture the moment. So they walked over & I gave them my camera, we took a few pictures, and when I started to walk off, that is when he grabbed my hand, got down on one knee, and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. Now we are eagerly counting down the days until we say, "I do". See you in the Islands!
