BLIND DATE :) We met through a friend's mom who set us up on a blind date. We met at the Victoria house and had a 4 hour dinner that ended with endless amount of smiles and conversation. We both didn't want the night to end so he said he had a back up plan to go bowling to keep the night moving forward. It was the first date that everyone dreams of 🥰
Duluth is our new memorable road trip adventure. In 2018 we decided to start a tradition of going to see the Bentlyville Tour of Lights. We planned a road trip and made a weekend out of it. So in 2019 when the lights were set up again he had asked if we were keeping this tradition of going to see the lights. We decided that we needed to keep this tradition. We got a hotel and took our new favorite little road trip to the lights. It was a chilly night. We started out going to the Enger Tower and took some pictures over looking the view of Bentlyville and then climbed up the tower. We then headed to the light show. We walked through the entrance and there is this beautiful banner of lights. He said let's take a picture. We asked this gentleman to take our picture and it turned out great. CJ looked at the picture and said he didn't like it because he was holding his coat. Then this young Woman asked us to take her picture and we agreed then she asked her if we wanted ours done. I said yes since he didn't like our last one. So as I'm Turning around after handing the woman my phone he is on the ground. I'm thinking that he is setting his coat down and mind you it it chilly outside. I was completely thrown off by what he was doing and told him to get up. Until I finally realized what he was doing. She captured all of the best moments. Him being down on one knee with the ring out he asked if I would marry him. Of course I said yes!! All excited and our hearts beating excessively we walked through the rest of the lights and took wonderful pictures. We ended the night with a dinner and a night on at the hotel. It was a very Romantic night that we will never forget ♥️
