I have inquired about hotel blocks, but have not found any good deals as of yet. Splitting Airbnbs are probably the best option for many. I will update here as soon as I can find any hotel deals.

State park cabin info
I encourage anyone visiting to try to book a night or 2 at a state park cabin. If you need sleeping bags or other camping gear, I can help coordinate borrowing it. Alaskans have a lot of camping gear and are really great about loaning it to visitors.

We strongly recommend having access to a car, the best part of visiting Alaska is getting out of Anchorage, even if you stay close by. Avis is generally the cheapest when I book for work, but search of Kayak.com for the best deal
