We’re getting hitched!

It all started with a raffle ticket and little did Cody know he’d win the best prize, Ashley! Cody was Tanner’s (Ashley’s brother) roommate in Canyon for about 4 years, in that time they were able to get to know eachother and hang out before he moved back to Albuquerque. When Tanner got married Ashley & Cody were paired together in the wedding party. In that time they were able to reconnect and they kept in touch after. Nine months later Ashley was sharing about a raffle for Paike’s baseball team on Facebook and Cody bought a few tickets. He messaged about the drawing and if he had won and they started talking about their lives and made plans to get together in a few weeks . When they did finally meet they really hit it off and decided to become more than friends . They have become best friends and inseparable ever since that day !

As always our life never goes as planned or the way we think it will, I dont thinn that’ll ever change. We were suppose to be in Amarillo for the day to meet some fluffy cows, hang out with some friends, and go to Maxwells Christmas. A few dags before I texted my friend about the cows and we ended up having to cancel because of some schedule conflicts, due to that I cancelled the trip as everything else could be rescheduled. Cody of course had to make an alternate plan as he originally wanted to do it at the cows. My bestie to the rescue who had been helping him from the beginning help with a new plan. Saturday came, she was in town so we had a girls day shopping and all over town. As I walked into the house Paike was standing there with flowers and told me to go to the living room. When I turned the corner there was Cody standing in front of the tree and asked me to marry him. Of course I said YES!
