We can check into the lodge Monday 4/28 at 4pm. Check out is Thursday 5/1 at 11am. Guests are welcome to stay the whole time. We imagine most guests will be leaving Wednesday or Thursday depending on their flights.
It is an hour drive from the airport to the Timber Moose Lodge.
Clint and I can pick up some guests from the airport on Monday 4/28 and bring them to our apartment clubhouse until it is time to carpool to the Timber Moose. You may also call an Uber or Lyft from the airport to our apartment clubhouse.
The best time to fly in would be Monday 4/28 before 3pm. We will be carpooling to the venue at 3pm for the Welcome Event. Please communicate with Ashley or Clint when you book your flight.
Yes. Renting a car and driving to the Timber Moose will give you the flexibility and freedom to arrive when you please. If possible please rent an AWD vehicle. The roads are still likely to be snowy in April. Please note that check in time at the Timber Moose is 4pm and you won’t be able to be there sooner than that.
Unfortunately, the lodge is only large enough to accommodate the wedding party. If you have been asked to be a groomsmen or bridesmaid, we have parceled out sleeping arrangements for you along with immediate family members of the bride and groom. Feel free to ask Clint or Ashley if you’re unsure of where you’ll be staying.
There are a number of hotels in Heber City to choose from. You’re welcome to choose anyone but I imagine most guests will be in the Holiday Inn or Best western: they are across the street from one another which will simplify carpooling.
At this point, I don’t have a perfect answer but we will figure it out! You can carpool with other guests or we can send someone down front the lodge to pick people up. You could also call an Uber or Lyft.
No! Your presence at our special day is enough of a gift, but if you insist, you can find our cash fund on the registry tab of this website. Donations will go toward food and lodging expenses.
The dress code for the wedding will be Semi formal. The ceremony will be outside but the reception will be indoors. There will likely still be snow in the ground in April so be sure to bring warm layers. The Lodge also has a pool and hot tub so bring a swimsuit!
Absolutely! We would like all guests to join us for more than just the ceremony and reception. If you’re staying in a hotel we want you at the lodge as much as possible. This includes joining us for the welcome event on Monday, meal times, pool time, sauna etc.
We need a final guest count a month prior to the wedding for catering purposes, but would love rsvps in before then.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at the Timber Moose.
We have three meals planned out for guests per day, however you’re more than welcome to bring a bag of snacks or special items for your hotel room.
Yes please! Guests who bring a bottle of wine to share or a case of beer will be our favorites. 😉 FYI- You can buy beer at grocery stores in Utah but wine is only sold at liquor stores.
The road to the Timber Moose will likely be snowy/icy in April. We recommend AWD vehicles. Please let Clint or I know if your vehicle is not AWD, so we can plan accordingly.
