Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC)

45 minutes from Crested Butte. This is our recommended airport due to the proximity, but it is very small and you will have a layover in Denver.

Denver International Airport (DEN)

This airport is a 4 hour (gorgeous) drive from Crested Butte. It’s a major airport and may be easier and cheaper to find flights.

Transportation to and around town

There are several options to get to and around town and most people will find that a rental car is not needed. We’ve linked a website that gives an overview of the various options. We will have a shuttle to take you to/from the wedding. Uber/Lyft will likely not be an option, but the town shuttles are awesome and free.

There are tons of Airbnbs and VRBOs to choose from! Crested Butte has two main areas - Crested Butte (town) and Mount Crested Butte. They’re 10 minutes apart. Mount Crested Butte is where the Wedding Garden is located and is more quiet. The options for lodging here tend to be condos on/around the ski resort. Crested Butte is where all of the shops, restaurants, and bars are located and will be bustling in summer time. The options for lodging here tend to be hotels and houses.
