Christion and Ashley both attended the University of Alabama at the same time, and both graduated in 2014, yet somehow their paths never crossed. Though they didn’t know each other yet, they already shared one thing in common. They were both very good friends with Blake Sims. Blake and Christion played football together at the University of Alabama, and he is now a groomsman in the wedding. Years later, on March 31, 2019, their story finally began at 3000 bar in Birmingham, Al when Blake introduced them. Christion fell in love at first sight. What started as a simple introduction soon became the beginning of forever. At the time, Christion was playing professional football in Canada for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Between the time difference, Ashley’s work schedule, and Christion’s demanding practice schedule, staying in touch was very challenging, and they lost touch. Little did they know, fate had other plans for them. They rekindled at the beginning of 2023. He stole her heart, and they have been attached at the hip ever since. After lots of laughter, adventures, and growing closer than ever, Christion knew it was time to make it official. Three days after Christmas, on December 28, 2024, Christion proposed. What started as a chance meeting, turned into a love story neither of them saw coming, but both of them are FOREVER grateful for.
