As any two young adults do, they met through mutual friends. Christian loves to say that his "rule" was to talk to someone for a month before dating...he made it 3 weeks before asking Ashley to be his girlfriend (and she loves to remind him that she broke his rule, even though it was only by a week). On October 4th, 2020 they officially started dating. As months turned into years they grew more in love with each other every day. In February of 2024 they purchased Ashley's Grandparents home. On April 27th, 2024 they hosted what Ashley thought was their House Warming party, that unbeknownst to her, turned into Christian asking her to marry him. October 4th, 2025 will be their 5 year anniversary and they thought what better day to get married than that date! Here's to forever!
