previously that summer in 2017, we had butterflies and sparks fly at the greenbelt park. he brought me there and as soon as i step on that bridge i slip and fall, because the wood was so damp from the rain. we walk the trails and he points to the top of the stairs and said, " i used to spend a lot of time up there, a lot of emotions have gone through me up on that balcony, i would like us to go up there and sit." well my clumbsy self falls and barely makes it up the stairs let alone the trail. and thats where he got on one knee and asked me to marry him right in front of the old courthouse. it was a beautiful night and that moment made the best of it.
