It was around 2016 when we started flirting with each other. He saw me at the racetrack and from that point on it was like “Love at First Sight”. He tried his hardest to flirt with me and get up with me on social media and to start a conversation with me. He still tells people til this day that I ignored him when I saw him. I remember when I played “hard to get” when we finally started conversating because I was young and wondered how in the world does he wanna talk to me? He’s fine, nice smile? Oh no I just know he is playing around. Well long story short, we kept writing back and forth which eventually turned into exchanging numbers. I had been passing this boys house for years, not knowing his mom stayed right around the corner from my grandmas house (where I was raised half my life). One day I gave in, I met him at his house when he got off work and we started hanging out from there. He just knew he was going to get me and at that point it still felt so unreal because like I said he was so fine and I kept thinking how is this all for me? Lord I hear you! Talking about answered prayers? HA! He started off asking me to do his hair I guess trying to work his way into dating me(goal accomplished). The day came where I went to his grandmas house in Farmers Union where I met some of his immediate family. We have had our ups and downs like ANY couple will. We finally decided we were both what each other NEEDED and WANTED, and I am SO happy to say… here we are, the Bride and the Groom, years later. I guess it was REALLY “Love at First Sight” Fast forward to one of the best moments of my life. He was so excited he kept giving hints about getting me my diamond ring. We had a conversation where he asked me what I wanted for Christmas? I named something (I can’t remember) and his response was.. “I thought you wanted a ring for Christmas”. Now boy, you know you done told me what I was getting now (LOL). The anxiety started to build up because I knew what to look forward to and I was just waiting on that moment. Christmas Day, December 25th, 2022 was the day I became FIANCÉ! A complete dream come true. The date that is set for OUR big day is January 27th, 2024. We will spend our special moment with friends, family, and loved ones at the beautiful Terraces on Sir Tyler. Terraces on Sir Tyler is located in Wilmington, NC near the Mayfaire area. This will be a "no children" event. Please RSVP in a timely manner as we would love to have you celebrate with us on our wedding day. If you do not RSVP, you will not be able to attend.
