FAQs

Question

How and when should I RSVP?

Answer

Invitations will be mailed out with a QR code to digitally RSVP. If you are unable to do this, please communicate with either Casey or Ashley whether or not you plan on attending. We ask that everyone RSVP by 10/5/25 to allow for proper guest counts for our vendors.

Question

What is the best way to get to and from the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Please be sure to provide your own transportation to and from the locations. Parking lots are available at all the locations. The invitations include details with the specific addresses for each location. You can also see our “Schedule” tab on our website for more information.

Question

Will the events be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony will be held outdoors at St. Theresa’s. If the weather does not cooperate, the ceremony will be moved indoors. The reception is in a covered barn with a covered pavilion. We intend to keep everything open for outside use, however, if needed, the barn will be heated with heaters provided outdoors as well.

Question

Is there a block of hotel rooms booked for traveling guests?

Answer

As many of our guests are traveling from out of town, we have set up a block of rooms at the Home2 Suites Smithfield/Providence. Please see the “Travel” section for more information and to book directly with the block.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we adore children, we've opted for an adults-only affair, with the exception of our flower girl and ring bearer. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the evening to enjoy a relaxing date night! If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us directly!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to capacity of the venue, we have accounted for only the guests specifically addressed on your invitation. If you are unsure, please reach out to clarify.

Question

Will you be serving alcohol?

Answer

An open bar will be offered during the cocktail hour that will include beers, wines, and seltzers. Hard liquor options will be available, but for purchase. A full cash bar will be available after cocktail hour and until last call.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are asking everyone to dress in semi-formal/cocktail attire. Our bridal party will be in a burnt orange and an olive green. Outside of those two colors, please free to wear your best fall colors!

Question

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We'll be serving coffee and pastry items immediately following the ceremony at the church. Cocktail hour will start at 3:00 pm at the Barn with a full plated dinner starting at 4:30 that will consist of chicken, haddock, potatoes and veggies. However, if there are any allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 1:00pm. We are requesting everyone be there at least 30 minutes prior to start time to assure there are no distractions or interruptions during the mass.
