Our Story

In case you were not aware, we've been together for twelve years. Our journey began when we were 14, in Birdsboro, PA. Fifteen years ago, Ashley met Carl on the playground, outside of Carl’s house. Carl was being his usual playful, funny self. It was then, when Ashley saw Carl's striking blue eyes and his hairstyle (Ashley had a bit of a Justin Bieber obsession circa 2010. Ha!), that she realized he was the one. Intending to impress him, Ashley accidentally sprayed herself with mace. (Trust me, we will not recount that story!) Surprisingly, the incident led to Carl reaching out to Ashley and within a few text messages, we were fast friends. We spent that summer inseparable, quickly realizing our deep connection. Although we drifted apart for a few years, our friendship endured. We reconnected in 2013, and twelve years later, we are getting married! Throughout our journey, we have created countless memories and milestones that will last a lifetime. We have been there for each other through thick and thin, growing up together and navigating life as a team. From concerts and music to board games, kayaking, camping, motorcycle rides, true crime, comedy, movies, Renaissance fairs, and beach trips (Rehoboth, to be exact), we have shared countless adventures. Most importantly, we have cherished our time with family, friends, and laughter. Carl proposed on September 2, 2024, during a peaceful canoe ride on French Creek. The sun was shining, a gentle breeze was blowing, and we were surrounded by blooming lily pads. It was the perfect moment. Thank you for taking the time to read a glimpse of our story. We cannot wait to celebrate and spend our special day with you! Thank you for joining us!
