Like all cool millennials, we met on the Bumble dating app. After swiping right to Bryan's dashing photos, Ashley's pick-up line was as smooth as you could possibly imagine, something along the lines of, "Do you still have that 'fro?"... If only we had the picture in reference available... Bryan gallantly responded, "No." And thus, our love story began. Upon some very short exchanges (Bryan's not a messenger), we agreed to meet for our first date at 1 of 3 breweries Ashley provided to Bryan. Bryan chose Burning Brothers Brewery. To this day, Bryan still brings up this "fancy" gluten free brewery. As many of you may know, Bryan is not typically described as fancy, so this was a very out of character selection for him, haha! After a few drinks and a very long walk around St. Paul, we ended our night back at the brewery as it would appear rain was afoot. As we gazed into each other's eyes while we said our goodbyes, Bryan continued to lean in closer and closer (heaven knows why!). But alas, it started pouring! Considering Ashley's hair had been straightened that day, ain't no way she was going to let it curl in the rain, so with a quick wave goodbye Ashley dashed away. Bryan was left stunned and intrigued for the future ahead.
