Hey There! Thanks for stopping by - we're glad you're here! I think this is the part where we are supposed to share our looooove story with you all. (Don't worry, we will spare you the mushy stuff). Like a lot of love stories, ours has a lot to do with timing. We grew up in the same small town, went to the same small high school and the same university, and then eventually moved to the same city all without ever really meeting one another. Our lives ran on parallel paths for close to 30 years until the time was just right for them to cross. While the younger versions of ourselves probably thought we would have met and settled down with our better half a little sooner in life, we can both say with certainty that it sure was worth the wait to find each other! Our paths finally crossed on August 15, 2019 with a first date stop at Bobby Baker's (yes, I gave him a hard time for suggesting that for our first date, but it seemed to work out!) We soon found out we enjoyed a lot of the same things in life - football, craft beers, weenie dogs, scooters (then eventually motorcycles), and, of course, traveling.

Fast forward to Christmas Day 2022 - Bricen had devised a plan. Ashley's brother and his family had recently found out they were getting relocated to Australia for 3 years, so this was going to be our last Christmas with them for a while. Because of this, Ashley's mom wanted to have family pictures done Christmas morning while everyone was at the house. When we found out we were going to be doing pictures, Bricen suggested we also take some of just us since we don't get dressed up very often. Seeing as Bricen doesn't love having his picture taken, this was a surprise, but we rolled with it. We went through the whole morning of opening presents, getting around, and taking family pictures, and Bricen seemed cool as a cucumber. We took our pictures last... a couple pictures were snapped, and then all the sudden he dropped to one knee and popped the question in front of the whole family. The best Christmas ever!
