When is the deadline to RSVP?

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We do LOVE your kids; however, we would like for you to have a night out for yourself! We hope you understand and make arrangements in advance for any children under the age of 12.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation/RSVP link says "and guest," please feel free to bring someone along and let us know their name. If it does not, please do not bring a guest as we prefer to celebrate with just you and have limited seating.

What time do I need to be there?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. Please be respectful of the wedding party and arrive no later than 3:45pm.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting. The cocktail hour and reception will be held indoors.

What's the dress code?

Cocktail attire please. Come dressed in your best!

Is there a shuttle to and from the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately, there will be no shuttle transportation available to and from the venue due to our guests staying in various locations around the city. If you do not have your personal vehicle, consider using ride sharing apps, such as Uber or Lyft (cost estimated $15-$20 from downtown) or taxi.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Via I-10 East Stay on I-10 East and follow signs for New Orleans Business District Keep left at the fork to to continue on US-90 Business West for 3.8 miles Use the right 2 lanes to take exit 9B for LA-428 E/Gen de Gaulle Drive for .7 miles Continue on General De Gaulle Dr. Take LA-407 S to English Turn Pkwy to Clubhouse Drive Turn Right onto Clubhouse Drive

Is there free parking at the venue?

Answer

Parking at the country club is convenient and complimentary, and valet service is always available at an additional fee.

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Answer

Yes! We have blocked rooms at three hotels in the downtown area. All are about 10 miles from the venue and available first come first serve. Please click the "Travel and Accommodations" link above to be redirected to the hotel booking information. Discount code - CBW or state Carroll-Brown Wedding.

Will there be free parking at the hotels?

Answer

Most hotels in the downtown area do charge for parking a vehicle overnight. Contact your hotel directly for exact rates.

Where are you registered?

Answer

We will be registering through ZOLA, this wedding website. When you receive your formal invitation in October, please revisit our wedding website and there will be a Registry link available for you to select, order, and ship your gift choices to us for free.

Can we play golf at the club?

Answer

Tee Times are available and scheduled within 30 days advance of the wedding. Every wedding reception secured at English Turn will receive complimentary green fees. I will provide you the reserved tee times as the wedding approaches.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Please contact me directly if you have any dietary restrictions. You will also have the option to inform us on your RSVP.

Does your wedding have a theme? What are your wedding colors?

Answer

Well...it will be Christmas time! Our wedding colors are cranberry and navy blue with accents of blush pink and gold.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Average temperatures in December in New Orleans - Low: 50 degrees High: 65 degrees. These are just averages. We will have more information about one week before the wedding.

Will there be a send off?

Answer

Our send off will be 8:45pm-9:00pm with a traditional New Orleans second line brass band. We hope you stick around to experience it with us! It's so much fun!
