We ask that guests please arrive by 1:30 pm as the ceremony will start promptly at 2 pm. If you are late, you will be kindly asked by our team to not enter the ceremony space. Please wait and enter during cocktail hour. Please plan to arrive on time as we would love all of you to be present during our ceremony :)
Both the Ceremony & Reception will take place indoors. However, the Ceremony will be located at the UMD Memorial Chapel and the Reception will be located at The Hotel at UMD. The Reception has access to the patio which will be available during cocktail hour and the reception.
If you plan on staying at The Hotel at UMD, they do offer a discounted rate for only 2 nights on Saturday, Aug 3rd- Monday, August 5th. To book please contact the bride or the groom directly. First come first serve as rooms are limited.
Ceremony (UMD Memorial Chapel): Guests attending events in the Main Chapel are invited to use the front entrance facing Regents Drive and Chapel Field. There is an aside entrance on Chapel Lane with a built-in ramp Reception(The Hotel at UMD): Self-parking is available in the attached garage at a rate of $10.00/day for wedding guests. Guests who choose this option will receive a parking key card, which will allow for full in/out privileges throughout the day. Directions for using the parking key card to enter/exit the garage can be found on the hotel website.
Yes! We would like our guests to dress in cocktail/semi-formal attire. We ask that you refrain from wearing the color white as this is reserved for the bride.
We kindly request NO pictures and videos until the end of the ceremony once it has been announced to do so. Please have your phones on silent so we all can be fully present! We are happy for you to capture photos and videos during the reception however, we do ask politely not to be posted on social media. We also ask that you please send all photos and videos of the ceremony and reception to the bride and groom for us to look back on. Although we love children, we are having a child-free night (unless an exception has been made by the bride & groom- )! We want parents to enjoy their time on a night out :) However, the children of the immediate family will be present.
Your presence at our wedding is enough, but should you wish to gift us something, we’d be thrilled to receive monetary contributions to our cash fund which was made for our future home! The fund is located under the registry tab or you can give on the day of the wedding ~ there will be a card box located on the guest book table outside the reception hall.
If you do not RSVP, you will unfortunately not be able to attend the wedding. All catering & seating are based on the RSVP headcount. If you were to show up without an RSVP, there would be no seats or food for you. Please make sure to RSVP before the deadline - June 25th 2024!
Unfortunately, we are limited on space and can only accommodate the selected guest that received an invitation. You must check with the bride and groom.
