Who would have known that the Fourth of July in 2014 would have brought fireworks to my love life? We were both invited to a cookout through mutual friends we've both known for years, but somehow we never crossed paths before. I was making my way around the party talking with others attending, and then I met a lady-- who I hit it off with instantly-- who just so happen to be Brandon's stepmom. We talked for a while and she told me she had a son she wanted me to meet, so she told Brandon he needed to go ahead and head there. He showed up and I instantly thought he was cute! Me, him, and a couple of our mutual friends spent the night celebrating the Fourth of July and we just clicked. The next day we hung out again, and we haven't been separated since. On August 26, 2014 he asked me to be his girlfriend, and I of course said yes.. and that was the beginning to our love story!

The story goes-- First comes love, then comes marriage, and then comes a baby carriage. But God had other plans for us. On March 7, 2019 I found out I was pregnant.. and its not something we were planning or ready for at the time, or so we thought. On November 4, 2019 our beautiful baby boy, Jaxson Wayne Allen, was born. He has brought so much joy and love to our lives, and perfected our love story.

As some of you may know, Brandon does not handle poopy diapers very well. Well, on New Years Eve it was time to change a stinker and it just happened to be Brandon's turn. He takes Jaxson into his room to change him and after about 2 minutes Brandon starts yelling my name saying he needs help because its a stage 5 pooper.. I go in there to help and when I go to change the diaper (which was clean) inside was a ring box-- when I turned around confused he was down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I had been waiting for that moment for years, so obviously my answer was YES! Now I get to spend forever with the love of my life.
