Y'all. We're getting married!

Ashley and Bishop both "swiped right" on Bumble in January, 2016, never dreaming it would lead to this. After the initial "swipes" and exchanges, A & B chatted via text for about a month and formed quite a bond based on a shared love of the movie "The Bodyguard", cute animals, music, and funfetti cake. At that point, the relationship was built solely on communication and before long they agreed to meet in person. Their first official date was grabbing coffee and getting to know each other in real life. At this meeting, B asked A to accompany him to a Metric concert, Metric being a band for which they still share a great love! As time passed, A and B realized they shared basically identical world views and a deep appreciation for many things: Halloween, finding the perfect cup of coffee, and dancing with a stupid face when you're trying to make each other smile. 2 moves, 4 pets, countless trips and concerts, 8 birthday cakes, 369 episodes of Grey's Anatomy, and about 1800 cups of coffee later, A and B have decided to take the next big step. On October 31, 2020, in the middle of a pandemic, A and B had a Halloween party for two, complete with costumes. They usually try to have a small Halloween party for their close friends each year, but obviously 2020 did not permit that. After B built a bonfire in the backyard, he "went inside to get something" as A sat under the stars eating s'mores. When B returned, he got down on one knee and proposed to A. With her mouth full of marshmallow, and dressed as Moira Rose from Schitt's Creek, A cried of course. But then she said "yes." ♥ A + B
