Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Ashley Boucher and Andrew Trofimow
Boston has something for everyone. Explore the shops and cafés along Newbury Street, relax in the Boston Public Garden, or take a walk along the historic Freedom Trail. The city is easy to navigate on foot and filled with great restaurants, museums, and waterfront views.

Dining

Boston has no shortage of great places to eat. The North End is known for its Italian restaurants. We love Riccardo’s Ristorante and Cantina Italiana. Newbury and Boylston Street are filled with cafés and upscale spots. In the Seaport, Mr. H has become one of our favorites for modern asian fusion and nightlife vibes. You’ll also find Del Frisco’s, Legal Harborside, and Citrus & Salt in the area. Quincy Market is great for a quick, casual bite while exploring. If you’re craving a little local history with your bite, Sullivan’s on Castle Island is a must. We absolutely recommend it. It’s a true Boston institution. Classic local hot dogs, lobster rolls, burgers, and crispy fried seafood, all with that relaxed seaside vibe. After you eat, head over to Fort Independence or just take a nice walk along the Harbor. It’s casual, it’s got history, and it’s one of our favorites. We highly recommend securing a reservation in advance if you plan to dine in the North End or at Mr. H.

Shopping

Boston has a great mix of shopping, all within easy reach of The Lenox Hotel. Newbury Street and Boylston Street offer a blend of boutiques and major brands. The Prudential Center and Copley Place feature indoor malls with designer stores, while Charles Street in Beacon Hill is known for its local shops and charm. Faneuil Hall is also worth a visit for its lively mix of stores, food vendors, and historic atmosphere.

Museums

Boston has a strong museum scene with something for every kind of visitor. Highlights include the Museum of Fine Arts, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Institute of Contemporary Art, and the New England Aquarium. All are easily accessible from the hotel and worth a visit.
