December of 2024, Ashley and Alfie's paths crossed on a dating app -- just days before Christmas. Little did they know that a simple swipe would lead them to the love they have always prayed for. Just a few weeks later, they met for the very first time at a coffee shop in Chattanooga, TN. They enjoyed their coffee, shared laughs, and learned more about each other. At the end of the date, they both left feeling like this was something special. Just a few weeks later they started dating, and the rest was history! Over the next few months of dating they spent all the time they could together going on dates, spending time with family, and of course their dogs Ruckus and Annie! Suddenly all of the mundane chores where exciting adventures and a way to enjoy the simple pleasure of each other's company. From grocery shopping to movie nights, everything felt more special now that they were together. They knew quickly they wanted to spend forever together. The Lord provided each of them with an abundance of peace and clarity. The Lord has so evidently brought them together, and what a joy it is to be with the person the Lord created for you! After ring shopping, they knew the most exciting season of their lives was about to become a reality! October 4th, 2025, the best day yet was finally here. Alfie took Ashley back to that little coffee shop they had their first date at, sat her down at that same front table, got on one knee, and popped the question! Spoiler alert: Ashley said YES! Now they are getting ready for their happily ever after!
