Where are the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place in Watercolor. We'll exchange vows at Cerulean Park, and the celebration will continue just next door at the Watercolor Lakehouse.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We highly recommend staying within WaterColor if possible. It's the most convenient option, allowing you to easily walk, bike, or take the trolley to our events. Since rideshare options are limited in this area, staying on-site will make getting around much easier.

What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

**Coastal Formal** We're envisioning an elevated, colorful, and beachy vacation-inspired aesthetic for our celebration. **For Women:** We’d love to see you in ankle-length to floor-length dresses in light, bright, vibrant colors. Opt for refined fabrics and formal silhouettes—this is the perfect occasion to wear something fun, bold, and statement-worthy. We kindly encourage guests to embrace colorful hues and lighter tones inspired by the coast, rather than darker shades. Please avoid short dresses, casual cotton fabrics, or overly relaxed styles. **For Men:** Suits are strongly encouraged in light, coastal tones such as tan, blue, or other elevated colorful options. Linen, seersucker, and lightweight wool are excellent fabric choices for our seaside setting. Suits are expected, ties are optional. Please refrain from jeans, relaxed-fit pants, or overly casual attire.

What shoes should I wear?

For the ceremony on the grass, we recommend opting for block heels, wedges, or flats to keep you comfortable and secure. Since the reception will be held indoors, feel free to wear any style of shoe you'd like for that portion of the celebration.

Beach cocktail bonfire party attire?

Answer

Ladies are encouraged to wear short or midi-length dresses in bright colors, coastal prints, or breezy fabrics such as linen, cotton, or chiffon. Dressy sandals, wedges, or block heels that can handle sand are recommended. Feel free to embrace fun, summery styles that feel effortless and beachy. Gentlemen can wear khakis or lightweight pants paired with a collared button-down shirt or polo. Linen shirts and light, coastal colors are encouraged. Loafers, boat shoes, or dressy sandals are all great options. Jackets and ties are not necessary. Please note that portions of the evening will take place on the sand, so we recommend choosing footwear that is beach-friendly. We can’t wait to celebrate with you on the beach!

We kindly ask that this be an adults-only celebration. We've designed the evening for our guests to relax and enjoy themselves without children present at either the ceremony or reception.

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Absolutely! We'd love to hear about any food allergies or dietary restrictions you have. Please let us know so we can do our best to accommodate your needs. While we're committed to making arrangements for you, we ask for your understanding that we may not be able to guarantee every accommodation.

We've carefully planned our guest count, so we're only able to welcome those listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5:30 PM. Please arrive 20 to 30 minutes minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking at the Watercolor Lakehouse is limited, so we encourage you to carpool or use a ridesharing service. If you're staying within Watercolor, you'll have convenient access to walkable paths, bikes, and a trolley service to bring you to the event.
