Ashley and Adam met "on the Tinder" (as Ashley would say). They both swiped right, and after talking about Nala, Ashley's Rhodesian Ridgeback, they set a date to meet at the Flying Pig in Malvern, PA on August 16. The date went well (obviously) and they agreed to go out again. That was when it all began. Since then, they’ve been to numerous concerts, breweries, wineries, and restaurants. Traveled to Gettysburg, Nashville, San Diego, Denver, and Chicago. They both enjoy going on bike rides, walks, and going to the beach. Adam even moved in and officially became Nala’s dad. They love each other all of the time, though they infuriate each other some of the time. That’s normal, right?!

First, some backstory: Ashley and Adam love Liz Longley, a singer/songwriter whose music they got to know after a recommendation from Ashley's friend Amy. Ashley and Adam have been to many Liz Longley shows, and some of her songs hold special meaning to Ashley and Adam, specifically the song "When You've Got Trouble". For Valentine's Day in 2018, Adam got Ashley the lyrics to "When You've Got Trouble" handwritten by Liz Longley, which are now framed in their house. The Proposal: About a month before the concert, Adam had messaged Liz on Instagram and had asked Liz to help him with the proposal. She gladly agreed and they agreed on a plan. The concert was on Saturday, June 23rd at The Queen in Wilmington, DE. After Liz Longley finished her set she got back up on stage for the encore. Before the played the song she said, "I'm really excited to play this next song. There's a couple in the audience, Adam and Ashley, and this song holds a lot of meaning to them. But before I play it, Ashley, Adam has something he wanted to ask you.” Adam got down on one knee and asked Ashley to marry him. Ashley was quite surprised, "Are you kidding me?! You're joking! Are you serious? Really?" Eventually she said "Yes!" or "of course!" They're not quite sure. :)
