Fuel and Fuddle
One of our Oakland favorites that has not changed one bit since frequenting during college. I think we have tried every menu option but Adam's favorite is anything that includes their bread and Ashley loves the mixed sweet potato fries with ranch.
PNC Park
Although not always the most enjoyable team to watch, the view is spectacular and it is a ton of fun just to walk along the river.
Rivers Casino
We used their parking garage for a random Thursday afternoon Pirate game and they were already down 1-0 before we even made it to the casino floor. At the same time, an announcement was made for free table game lessons so we jumped over to a craps table. We ended up skipping the game and ride a wave of beginners luck for the afternoon. Although we have never repeated such an afternoon, it is one of our favorite stories to share.
Cathedral of Learning
You probably already know how special this place is to us but did you know it is where we first met? If you want to really be specific, visit room 244B where we took FR 0001- Introduction to Elementary French. If the tables are still set up into two sets of rows, I was in the second row on the left, second seat from the center and Adam was directly behind me. Thanks Andrea for making everybody exchange numbers!
Square Cafe
The best brunch we have ever had in the North. We have not visited their new location so we are not sure what our favorite cocktail are but we love the crepes
D's Six Pax and Dogz
Another long time favorite that we just keep coming back to! We have tried every hot dog but love the pizzas also. You must try the veggie pub fries! It is dog friendly but we have not been brave enough to take our two fur monsters. Check out the beer cave!
