Elizabeth

Matron of Honor

Elizabeth was my first friend when I moved to College Station in second grade, aside from my beloved weenie dog Maggie, of course. We were babysat together, shout out Miss Dawn for being the worst, then were at the same elementary school. We have gone from bringing Barbies to school to play with at Kids Klub to buying Barbies for Elizabeth's girls [to hopefully take to school to play with their lifetime besties]. The vacay to the Ozarks will always be a core memory of "rafting" down the river and finding a "snake," Elizabeth getting sick on a pickle she wasn't even supposed to have, the hoe down, and just everything about that terrible trip....now the Grand European Burgle Adventure! I love to tell just about everyone I meet that my best friend is a bad ass because she's a pilot for the Air Force. A pilot of C-130's! I have gotten to visit her and Brennan [and now Hattie and Harper, can't wait to meet Holden!] at all but one of their bases, even doing the flight simulator once [so, basically an honorary pilot!]. At Elizabeth's wedding their friend asked if I was "Moody too" and I kept thinking it was an odd question and wasn't quite sure how to answer because I mean, yeah, sometimes, but then someone finally told me that was their Base! Aaron and I had the time of our lives visiting them in Germany, but can't wait for them to come back to the States and take the boys to visit their next Base! The Goonies will forever be the best sleepover movie ever...I smell ice cream!

Jessica

Bridesmaid

I met Jessica during the weird middle school years in youth group. What an interesting phase of life to survive together haha. My favorite high school memory is turning 16 and getting to drive. One time we went to Chicken Oil in my car, had a flat tire, were waiting on her dad and a man knocked on our window to make sure we KNEW we had a flat. Well duh, just waiting on Bob! And when she turned 16 her parents made her tell them turn by turn by turn how to get to my house before she could leave their house even though she had been to our house millions of times! Jessica went on countless family vacations and our two families also vacationed together. In many ways she has always been more like family than a friend. She will always be my favorite skiing partner, even if she wouldn't climb back up a mountain to help me up after I fell. Only a true friend would say yes to going along on a family vacation to South Dakota. Nobody else could ride through Beverly Hills in a white Crown Victoria while singing the theme song to Fresh Prince of Bel Air with me and make it fun, or still be seen with me when I had the sunburn from hell from Sea World on the same trip [thanks, mom!]. And a cruise with the WHOLE family that includes nearly dying in Jamaica? But the best memory of all? King George Strait at Kyle Field!

Torii

Bridesmaid

I will always be thankful to Dr. Chris for creating the worst class in the ALED Department at Texas A&M because it gave me Torii [and Cole]. We made a friend together, Vincent Williams, and went to a baseball game where I somehow ended up sitting in the middle and that became our traditional picture pose. Even though I am getting married, I will always be your forever third wheel. #KapavikChristmasCard4Life We have been on so many travel adventures together: our personal private tour of Vanderbilt's Football Stadium [from the old man who just had a stroke], Taylor Swift's Speak Now Tour [feat. green tights you made me not wear], Maine [where my jeans ripped while eating a chocolate chip cookie sandwich], Tennessee [boat horn nearly landed me in the water], Colorado hiking [chipmunk stealing Cole's sandwich after we TOLD him it was going to but also me nearly dying so many times because peer pressure gets the best of me and I'm like yeah Cole, I can do that even though I know for a FACT I cannot actually do that] I, and so many more. And one of my personal favorites drinking pitchers of margaritas while floating in the pool without a care in the world! Margs + queso = Torii & Ashley

Elvie

Flower Girl

Elvie Louise Corn was born November 23, 2021 and found her way to me January 15, 2022, forever changing my life. She is always so happy and brings a smile to our faces when we get home. Elvie's favorite things include cheese, whipped cream, treats, swimming and being wherever we are [we always say she's like Ariel and wants to be where the people are]. It has been so sweet to see the bond Mason and Miles have created with Elvie, especially Miles. We often hear Miles walking around the house talking out loud saying "where's my girl? Elvie!" They also like to argue with me over if she's MY dog or OUR dog. And who loves her more, me or them. Clearly, they just don't even know. I win in all categories! I keep lobbying for Elvie to be the flower girl, but she will not be making an appearance at the actual wedding. But is VERY important to our family. Elvie Louise, may you live forever!

Brien

Groomsman

My epic 20-year friendship with Brien kicked off in the Agrilife IT department at Texas A&M, where we probably spent more time playing videogames than doing actual work. From those pixelated battlefields to our annual pilgrimages to Vegas for CES, Brien has been there through it all. He's the brother I chose, and I'm thrilled to have him up here with me.

Adam

Groomsman

Adam is my brother (and basically my twin, give or take a year and two weeks!). Being the two oldest we have always shared a close bond keeping our other three brothers in check. We've shared countless memories, and I couldn't imagine celebrating this milestone without him standing up there with me.

Ruben

Groomsman

Ruben is a valued friend and colleague I'm thrilled to have by my side. Our paths first crossed a decade ago at the TAMU Tech Summit in Galveston. Since then, we've shared remarkably similar career trajectories, navigating professional challenges and triumphs together. Ruben has been an invaluable sounding board and a truly dependable resource as we've both moved up in our careers.

Mason

Son

Mason is my [Aaron] oldest son and most people say my "mini-me". He's shy at first but once he is comfortable, look out, he can very much be the life of the party! Having him with us on our wedding day means everything, and I'm so proud of the incredible person he's becoming. Just ask him about Legos to get him talking!

Miles

Son

Meet Miles, my [Aaron] wonderful five-year-old who believes every day is a reason to sing and celebrate! He's a tiny bundle of energy with a big personality, and you'll often find him competing with his older brother to be the very center of attention (in the best way possible, of course!).

Uncle James

Officiant

Ashley's Uncle James is the officiant for the wedding. If you know me then you have likely heard about Aunt Karan and Uncle James and how I spent many summers with them when I was growing up. The lake trips, biking to the city pool, flying over railroad tracks and watching him do taxidermy like all normal young girls do in their spare time. Uncle James actually took me on my first road trip [5+ hours] when I was a baby so Aunt Karan could see me! Uncle James and I have always shared a special bond over ice cream. When I would go visit we would make homemade ice cream or have that big bucket ice cream because Eldorado didn't have Blue Bell. We went on two family cruises and we often met at the ice cream machine. When they moved to Granbury we switched to Braum's. One year I painted many family members pottery from U Paint It and I made him a red ice cream bowl! We are even having an ice cream bar at the reception... After I got Elvie Uncle James started asking me where I got her. A little while later he ended up contacting the breeder and now he has her sister, Molly Mae Holley! Elvie is still skeptical of her, though! We are looking forward to having someone so special serve as the officiant...just hoping all the stories he has on me don't make it into the ceremony!
