No, we have made the decision to not allow children at the ceremony or reception. I understand that this might be difficult due to the travel that is required so please reach out to me if this will be a problem. Grandma and Grandpa might love to come and babysit! ;)
Do not rent a car unless you plan on leaving the downtown area of Savannah. Everything is within walking distance to each other. Even if you wanted to go from one end of the city to the next, you can stop at a park mid way and enjoy the views, rest your legs and then keep going. Should you prefer a driver, there are many ways to get around. Including a Pedipub that can be booked, on and off trolleys that will give you some local history along the way or you can download this free app for free transportation from the city. App store: Downtowner - This is an eco friendly on demand ride service that is free to use. Please allow yourself some extra time for travel when using this service as it is free and could have high demand.
Savannah is very pet friendly. The Host hotel allows pets in specific areas and on 3rd floor rooms for anyone that wants to bring their furry friends. Savannah also is mostly pet friendly at their stores and restaurants and you can dine on the patio with them as you please.
You do not have to book at the Hyatt, there are many other places to stay in the area that are all within walking distance to the ceremony and reception.
