Molly Asper

Molly and Ashley met during their time at Ursuline College. Molly is an incredible nurse and most recently earned her doctorate of nursing practice. She is officially Dr. Molly Asper, DNP, AANP and we are so incredibly proud of her achievement. Molly is sunshine in human form! Her smile, laughter and hugs make everyone feel immensely loved. Molly and her husband Austin live in Shelby, Montana with her adorable puppy Toby. Although Molly and Austin live so far away they are forever close in our hearts and a part of our family.
Beth Bergandine
Groom's Person
Douglas’s oldest sister and friend, Beth welcomes all into her fold. She has a persistent, kind nature; and keeps everyone close to her grounded. Her professional role as a Men’s Warehouse manager has been a great asset for planning our wardrobe. Beth is an animal lover and her family in Sunny Pena Blanca New Mexico is completed by her many pets.
Dawn Bittner
Groom's Person
Douglas’s older sister is one of the kindest people you will meet. She is always considerate of others and has the biggest heart. She is an avid baker and shows her love by the treats she creates. Her professional role in hospitality has been welcomed through the planning process; providing valuable insight along the way. Dawn is loyal, has a love for shopping, and enjoys crafting for those she loves.
Robert Coolbaugh
Groom's Person
Robert and Douglas have been friends since 2nd grade when they met in Mrs. Sears class. He is a devoted friend and is always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. Robert lives in Madison, Ohio, the town the two of them grew up in. He raises chickens on his property and Douglas and Ashley joke that Robert has ruined commercial eggs for them. He attended the University of Akron where he studied Cisco Systems integration. Robert is a world traveler and enjoys seeing new places, and trying new foods. Some of his travels include Australia, South Africa, and the Nordic Circle. He is a great friend to have and will share stories and jokes with anyone.
Kelsie Kopec
Bridesmaid
Kelsie and Ashley met as classmates at Ursuline College in Cleveland and quickly became best friends. As co-resident assistants, Ashley and Kelsie adored the time living down the hall from one another. Kelsie adds to the long list of loving nurses in Ashley's inner circle. Kelsie lives with her husband Glenn and daughter Lucie in Pittsburgh, PA where she works as a clinician at UMPC hospital. Her love for outdoor adventures, along with her sense of humor makes her a forever friend.
Kristen Magers
Bridesmaid
Kristen is a best friend to both Ashley and Douglas. Ashley’s mom, Sharon first introduced them years ago, and their bond was instant. Kristen’s fiercely dry sense of humor makes for amazing stories and laughs, Kristen shows her love for others by always being willing to lend a helping hand. Kristen and her fiancé Susan, Douglas' Best Person, live together in Columbus, Ohio. She is a long-time vegetarian and ironically an amazing meatball maker and general cook. Many meals and laughs have been shared around our tables.
Angel Romina
Maid of Honor
Angel is the younger, favorite, and only sister of the bride. As children, Ashley and Angel were vastly different, but they have grown into the best of friends. Angel is the Visitor Experience Supervisor at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Garden in Columbus, Ohio. Angel’s planning and meticulous organizational skills throughout the entire wedding planning process are the reason for its success. Her prior professional experience as wedding coordinator facilitating more than 75 weddings make her a resource of knowledge and expertise that Ashley and Douglas would be lost without. Her smile and laughter light up a room, and we couldn't imagine this day without her.
Susan Tebben
Groom's Best Person
Susan is a close friend of both Douglas and Ashley. Susan is always there with an uplifting spirit and encouragement. She has an easygoing personality and will always be around to support our crazy ideas or bring us back to reality. Susan and her fiancé Kristen, one of Ashley's bridesmaids, live together in Columbus, Ohio. Her professional role as a journalist has us always asking her to proofread or fact-check for us. Susan and Douglas both love breakfast food, corned beef hash is their favorite dish. Susan has an extensive vinyl record collection and loves cats.
