We met in 2019 through a dating app — a modern beginning to what turned out to be a timeless love story. Ashley was giving love one last heartfelt try, while Tim was casually swiping, not knowing that everything was about to change. It was Ashley who made the first move, sending a message that would spark something unforgettable. After just a few messages, we exchanged numbers and had our first phone call — which turned into a three-hour conversation that felt like minutes. A couple of days later, we met in person for our first date. (Fun fact: Tim had dental work that morning, and Ashley was overwhelmed with work stress — we both almost canceled. But something told us to show up. And thank goodness we did.) That night marked the beginning of something truly special. From then on, we were rarely apart — spending weekends together, sharing quiet moments, deep conversations, and a growing sense that this was the real thing. A year later, just as the world was turning upside down, we took a leap and moved in together. Quarantine life tested us in every way, but through every challenge, we discovered the strength and depth of our connection. We learned how to laugh through the chaos, support one another through uncertainty, and build a life as a team. In 2022, our love grew even greater with the arrival of our son, Cameron. The following year, we bought our first home and got engaged — a beautiful milestone on our journey. While planning our 2025 wedding, life surprised us again in the most wonderful way: we found out we were expecting our second baby, Blake. Filled with joy and eager to become Mr. and Mrs., we decided not to wait any longer. On October 17, 2024, we were married in a beautiful, intimate courthouse ceremony surrounded by a few of our closest family and friends — a day filled with love, happy tears, and the sweetest beginning to our forever. Our love story isn’t perfect — but it’s real, deep, and filled with meaning. Through every twist and turn, we’ve chosen each other, over and over again. And now, with two sweet boys, a shared last name, and a lifetime ahead, we can’t wait to continue writing this story — together.
