Mother of the Bride
Terri was born in Toledo Ohio and is a successful business owner and dental hygienist. Terri was blessed with a beautiful daughter in November of 1986 and her life was forever changed. Ashley is Terri's whole world and has given her a life that any kid could only dream of. Terri and Ashley are extremely close and enjoy going on vacations together, especially those that include sitting on the beach and doing nothing. Terri is not only Ashley's mother, she is her rock, mentor and best friend.
Mike Wyman & Mark Foster
Father's of the Bride
Mike has known Ashley her entire life, he was best friends with Ashley's Uncle Markus growing up and has been in love with Terri since he was 15. Unfortunately, Mike was not Terri's first pick however, he ended up winning the day and her heart and they were married in 2005. Mike is known for having his own circus in his head, that only few are able to keep up with, Ashley being one of them. Mike has always been a great father to Ashley and she looks up to him for advise and guidance when things go crazy in her life. Mark has always been the goofball father to Ashley and taught her everything she needed to know about cars, music and awesome sound equipment. Mark has been a dad that Ashley can always call on just to chat and have good conversations about life.
Lena Vasilovski
Mother of the Groom
Lena was born in Ohrid Macedonia to parents Vangel and Luba. She is the second of four sisters. The family moved to Rome for a year and a half before settling in Detroit MI where she met the man of her dreams, Steve. Her dreams came true on February 18, 1978 when she gave birth to her wonderful son, Stevie V. Lena is such a great mother, she still to this day reminds Steve to wear his coat outside when it's cold.
Steve Vasilovski
Father of the Groom
Steve was born in Ljubojno Macedonia, he to this day is a volleyball legend in his hometown. He and his family immigrated to Detroit MI to pursue the American Dream. Steve met the love of his life and married her in 1972. Steve made sure to teach Stevie his master negotiating skills to always get a deal. Steve has been known to make salespeople cry and give him the price he wants just to get him out of the store. Steve was also the first person in Stevie's life to teach him and expose him to the wonderful world of golf.
Melissa Stefanovski
Kuma (Godmother)
Kuma has graciously accepted Steve and Ashley into her life and has truly made them feel as part of her family. She and Zoran have been a perfect fit as the Kuma and Kumo and Steve and Ashley couldn't be more excited to have them in their lives. They are truly looking forward to celebrating with them on the big day! Although they are a truly amazing couple, Melissa still has not forgotten or forgiven Zoran for killing her coy fish after suffocating it over the winter.
Zoran Stefanovski
Kumo (Godfather)
Zoran has known Steve for over 3 years where they have played ruthless Friday night hockey games together. Some may mistake Zoran for Datsyuk in Senior D hockey with his silky, smooth moves. Steve and Ashley are very lucky and honored that Zoran accepted being the Kumo and are very excited to dance the night away, drink cognac and have a great time at the wedding. Zoran loves playing golf , he plays with his 2 cousins Stive and Al and has been gracious enough to allow Steve to play with them from time to time.
Marque Haynes
Maid of Honor
Marque is Ashley's first cousin and they've been close their entire lives, even when thousands of miles kept them a part. Marque is known as the clumsiest cousin and most accident prone in the family. Marque and Ashley have had many adventures together, including many memories that most will never know. Before Marque went vegan, she could be found with chicken nuggets in her pockets just in case she needed a snack. Ashley loves Marque very much and is super happy that she gets to see her in LLama land every day.
Kirk Schlappi
Best Man
Kirk and Steve met while working at Cherry Creek Golf Course in 1999. Kirk is responsible for getting Steve back into hockey and has been known to attempt to sew his own eye after getting hit in the face with a hockey stick. Kirk has always been a great friend and advocate to opening Steve up to new experiences and has never made life boring. Kirk is Steve's sounding board in life and he has always been a person that Steve looks up to. Kirk, Steve and Uncle Jack play golf together every Saturday throughout the summers.
Caroline Ramirez
Matron of Honor
Caroline and Ashley became friends over 7 years ago when they worked at McKinsey together in Florida. They would go for runs on lunch which ultimately became nothing but a social hour. Caroline has been guiding Ashley through life over those years by always giving her 100% honest opinions, even when Ashley didn't want to hear it. Caroline has a marriage and a life that Ashley has always looked up and strives to have. Ashley cherishes her relationship with Caroline, even if over the last 5 years it's been mostly virtual.
Jason Dimoski
Groomsman
Jason is Steve's first cousin, they grew up together since they were babies and have been inseparable ever since. Growing up together, along with their cousin Nick, they have shared many stories that most will never know. The three boys were notorious for walking around Hamtramck on their own getting into mischevious adventures at a young age. Steve was Jason's best man at his wedding to Jessica and they are still more like brothers than cousins to this day.
Zoe King
Bridesmaid
Zoe is Ashley's sister and recently had a wedding of her own late last year. Zoe and Ashley are 7 years a part and even though they never grew up in the same household, they've always had a great sisterly bond. Ashley remembers Zoe when she was just a baby and every time Ashley was around, Zoe could be found right by her side, playing with hotwheels and eventually falling asleep in Ashley's lap.
Nick Nikolovski

Nick is Steve's first cousin. Nick is known to be the responsible "go-to guy" as they grew up. Nick has always been there to pick up the phone at 2 am when Steve & Jason were up to no good. He's always a great big-brother type, looking after Steve when needed. Steve almost killed Nick the first day that he got his Camaro because he didn't understand the power of the car. To this day, Nick refuses to get in the car with Steve driving.
Erica Hoen

Erica met Ashley in 7th grade when she moved to Ohio from Las Vegas, people still wonder why they chose Ohio. Erica and Ashley have had MANY stories along the years, most of them being way too much fun to share. They stayed very close even though Ashley was in Florida for 7 years and Ashley was in Erica's wedding. Erica is Ashley's longest standing friend and has always appreciated their friendship.
Mike Ray

What do you say about Mikey Ray? Mike and Steve met through Kirk about 10 years ago. Mike is a great advocate for boys nights out on Thursdays. He is an innovator in his own right, Mike is responsible for discovering the foxtail. Mike has always been a great friend to Steve and is someone he has looked up to as well.
Serena Riley

Serena and Ashley became friends almost immediately when Ashley began working at LLamasoft 4 years ago. Serena is known to be the friend who always celebrates every holiday with enthusiasm and never has a dull moment with her crazy outfits and planning. Serena was actually the person who introduced Steve to Ashley at the conference in which they met, she has been there for Ashley since the very beginning of their relationship. Serena has been an awesome friend to Ashley and always has her back no matter what.
Ethan Naas

Ethan is Steve's nephew and loves hockey and golf just like his Vucje. He is a tech expert and is a go-to for his Baba and Dedo to fix all of their electronic issues. Ethan and Steve just got back from an awesome trip to the world-renowned Master's tournament in Augusta GA. Ethan has mastered the skill of terrorizing his older sister, Olivia, another skill he learned from Steve.
Kaitlin Smith

Kaitlin and Ashley have been friends for over 7 years and met while Ashley was living in Florida. Kaitlin is free-spirited, an amazing yoga instructor and one of the most positive people Ashley has ever met. They have shared some epic experiences together over the years including country concerts, beach days and walking railroad tracks at 4am. Ashley truly cherishes her friendship with Kaitlin and loves that months can go by but when they talk, it's like only a few days have passed.
Justin Vasilevski

Justin is Steve's second cousin, a connoisseur of scotch and cigars. He is considered one of the best dancers in the family and enjoys golf, sports cars and lovely ladies. Steve is convinced that Justin will be President of the United States one day or at the very least the CEO of his own company of world domination. If you're at a Red Wings game or in Detroit, you'll likely see him around.
Olivia Naas

Olivia is Steve's niece and is in the midst of learning how to drive and play lacrosse. She's been known to give Steve solid dating advice at the age of 5 but it took him many years after to actually find the love of his life. Ashley is very excited to have Olivia be a part of the big day and even more excited to have her as her niece.
Daniel Vasilovski

Daniel is Steve's first cousin who has always idealized Steve's lacrosse successes. Daniel is a master at everything NBA basketball and attempted to ref a Lifetime Fitness basketball game but unfortunately, his dream was crushed as it was a major failure. Daniel has followed his father's footsteps by going to Hazel Park horse track and picking out tri-fectas.
Kim Gluck

Kim is another LLama lady that Ashley is super close with and part of her LLama crew. Kim is known for her witty come backs and always taking conversations just a tad bit past the line. Kim can light up the room with her energy and everyone enjoys being around her. Kim and Ashley are always laughing when they're together and Ashley truly values their friendship.
Michael Vasilovski

Lil' Mikey is the baby cousin of the Vasilovski family and always got himself into trouble as a kid. He was a true pyro growing up and was notorious for lighting ants on fire in the driveway. We were all convinced that he would be grow up to be a criminal but when he met Emily at Grand Valley State, she was able to straighten him out and he is now a law abiding citizen who enforces the law.
Kara Kogelman
Day of Coordinator / Ashley's Sanity Checker
Kara has been working with Ashley for almost 3 years and has been right next to her, deep in the trenches the entire time. Kara and Ashley share the same love for food, Disney movies and office supplies and both have admitted to having more pictures on their camera roll of food then anything else. Kara is always there to listen to Ashley when she needs to vent, ramble or just talk and Ashley couldn't think of a better person to trust with day of planning and execution then Kara. Even though Kara isn't standing up in the wedding party, she is a HUGE part of the planning and wedding and Ashley is extremely thankful for her willingness to always be awesome.
