Nick added Ashley on Instagram after a friend posted a photo of her. Ashley asked her friend who he was and she said he was very kind and she should accept his friend request. He didn’t reach out immediately, but after a few days he commented on her Instagram story saying “what kind of music are you listening to?” Only for her to respond that she was actually playing a video game. From there the conversation continued. There were so many common occurrences between the two such as both of their moms being were stroke nurses and both of their dads are salesman that work from home. Through the years more and more occurrences like this have come to light almost as if it was meant to be 😏. Nick surprised Ashley and took her on their first date to the San Diego Zoo so she could see elephants (since they are her favorite). On that first date she went back to Nick’s parents house to watch an old soccer video of Nick when he played for killer penguins. That night she met his parents. From there their love blossomed. Almost 5 years later, they got invited on a trip to Hawaii and Nick started to plan his proposal. On July 6, 2025 after dinner at Manta in Hawaii Nick gets down on one knee and asks Ashley to spend the rest of her life with him and she obviously said yes!
