GETTING THERE

Flying is fastest and easiest. The Cape Cod Gateway Airport has direct flights to/from several U.S. cities and many connecting flights through Boston. The airport is 15 minutes from the hotels, the church and the reception. If you are flying into Boston Logan International Airport and you are not renting a car, then Plymouth & Brockton operates a service with comfortable motor coaches from Logan International Airport to the Hyannis Transportation Center. The trip takes approximately two hours. (www.p-b.com) Driving is manageable from points in the Northeast, but you should plan for heavy traffic on Friday and Sunday.

GETTING AROUND

Car rentals are available at the Cape Cod Gateway Airport. Since there is no central venue for the weekend, a shuttle will be provided from the hotels listed on this page and the welcome reception, church, and wedding reception venues. All of these locations are 10-15 minutes apart. Check this page for updates. Parking in Hyannis Port is greatly restricted, so we request that you NOT drive yourself to the welcome reception or the wedding reception. For guests who are NOT staying at the hotels, we advise you to Uber/Lyft/Taxi directly to the venues or to one of the hotels where you can then grab the shuttle. We STRONGLY ADVISE guests to schedule transportation ahead of time via the Uber/Lyft/Taxi apps.

GOLF CART RENTALS

Guests might consider renting a golf cart for transportation. They are convenient, easier to park, and used by many area residents. If you go this route, be sure that the cart you rent is “street-legal.” Massachusetts does not permit unregistered golf carts on any streets. With a street-legal cart, you can travel on any road where the speed limit is below 30 mph, which is almost all of the roads in and around Hyannis Port. Golf Cart agencies can provide pick up and drop off at your Airbnb location.

STAYING THERE

The hotels on this page have set aside blocks of rooms at special rates for the weekend. Each of the hotels has a two- night minimum. Cape Cod has only one 5-star hotel, The Chatham Bars Inn, which is 40 minutes by car from Hyannis Port. Renting a house is also an option and there are usually many listings on AirBnB. Renting a house with other guests can make this a very affordable and fun option. For guests who do rent, we suggest that you search locations in or near the Town of Barnstable and one of its 11 villages: Centerville, Cotuit, Craigville, Cummaquid, Hyannis, Hyannis Port, Marstons Mills, Osterville, Santuit, West Barnstable, West Hyannis Port.
