Together they have a goofy dog named Ace and a hellion cat named Casper whom they adopted from Ashley. Ashley tried to warn them he was cute but evil. Thankfully they didn’t listen

Ashley and Anastasia met on howrse, a popular horse game in the 2000s. Their friendship blossomed over the years as the bonded through storytelling, Supernatural, and Korean dramas. “Shutter” and “Uni” are proof that internet friendships can last a lifetime. Auny is going to be a best selling author one day, and Ashley will be first in line to get a signed copy of Auny’s beautifully written novel.

Emma is JB's younger sister and was one of the first to accept Ashley into the Carroll family. Over the last few years they've come to view one another as sisters. Emma married her husband, Tera, in 2022. Together they have one child, a house polar bear (Great Pyrenees) named Stewie.

Ashley and Keagan met through JB's Saturday night D&D group. They bonded over romantasy novels, getting their nails done, and rolling their eyes at the guys' terrible puns. Keagan is engaged to Dustin Miles, another member of the D&D group.
