Downtown Vegas is always a good time! Whether you are walking the Fremont Street Experience or down at the bars on Fremont East. Not to mention the gambling and drinks are way cheaper than on the strip! Our favorite bar on Fremont East is We All Scream. It's an ice cream themed bar with a really cool rooftop and back patio. They even have a mini ice cream parlor downstairs! We also love the El Cortez; it was our favorite place to start the night off at when we first started dating! They also have an amazing hot dog stand.
AREA 15 is a cool immersive entertainment venue that offers so many fun things to do! Our favorite is a really cool 2 story arcade bar located in the back left of the building ( tip: drinks are cheaper there than they are at the Oddwood, which is the cool bar in the middle of the venue). Omega Mart is a fun immersive art installation full of weird things. Be sure to not wear combat boots, as they don't allow them on the slide. We have seen some of our favorite artists and djs together at Area 15!
For anyone wanting a beautiful fall hike, October is hands down the best time to experience what Red Rock Canyon has to offer. It's only around a 20 minute drive from the strip! We love taking Lily out here for some much needed time in nature. Our favorite hike is Icebox Canyon! It's beautiful in October and might even have a small waterfall at the end. Pro tip: do not eat bagels before attempting this hike. Take it from us!
If you know us, you know how obsessed we are with sushi. Not only does Vegas have some of the best sushi, but most places offer all you can eat, which is such a steal! One of our favorite spots is Sushi Neko. It's in Chinatown, not far from the strip, and sooo fresh and affordable. A must try for any sushi lover!
If you're looking for a fun bar with an amazing view, Beer Park is your place! Located right under the Eiffel Tower at the Paris hotel, it's the perfect spot to watch the Bellagio fountains and the craziness of the Strip below.
Capo's is an authentic Chicago mob-themed Italian restaurant close to the strip. They have a fun speakeasy entrance and live music that makes for a unique ambiance. Not to mention the food, drinks, and desserts are delicious!
